Memory Card ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") operates the Memory Card application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you use our App and our website.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
App Functionality: All data collected is used to provide core App features including game logging, reviews, social connections, communities, direct messaging, collections, and public profile display.
Account Management: We use your email and account information to manage your account, verify your identity, and send critical account notifications.
Communication: We may send you welcome emails and other communications related to your account and the App's functionality.
Moderation & Safety: We collect and review reports of inappropriate content and maintain records of user blocking relationships to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate violations, and maintain a safe community. Administrators can review reported content and take appropriate action including hiding content or banning users.
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
No Targeted Advertising: The App does not display third-party advertisements or use your data for targeted advertising.
No Analytics Tracking: We do not implement analytics tracking to profile user behavior or personalize content based on interaction history.
3. DATA LINKAGE TO IDENTITY
Yes, your data is linked to your identity. All information collected through the App is directly linked to your user account via your email address. This includes:
- Game logs and reviews you create
- Posts and comments in communities
- Messages you send to other users
- Your public profile and followers
- Collections you create
- Hearts and interactions on content
We do not anonymize or de-identify this data. Your identity is essential to the core functionality of the App (social gaming journal).
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your data is stored securely in our database backend. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, and destruction.
However, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
5. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTROLS
Access and Edit: You can access and edit your profile information, game logs, reviews, and other content directly within the App.
Delete Account: You can request to delete your account and associated data. See the Profile page in the App for the account deletion option.
Privacy Controls: You can set your profile to private (requiring approval for new followers), control what information appears on your public profile, and manage your social connections. You can also block users and report inappropriate content.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App is built on the Base44 platform, which provides backend infrastructure. Base44 handles data storage but does not have access to your content or use your data for any purpose other than providing the service.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting the revised Privacy Policy on the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
